Private courts:

1. Meadowbrook Swim and Tennis Club - Inexpensive, $25 initiation and $20/month for Pickleball only. Lessons and clinics available. Hundreds of pickleball playing members. 1553 Kimball Ave Seaside, CA 93955

2. Monterey Sport Center - Indoor courts, but they are not dedicated. Walking distance from downtown. $58-$65/month. 301 E. Franklin Street, Monterey, CA 93940

3. Chamisal Tennis and Fitness Club - Expensive at $175/month and 20 min drive from downtown, but a high quality facility with lots of members. 185 Robley Rd Corral De Tierra, CA 93908

Public courts:

1. Via Paraiso Park - Two permanent Pickleball courts recently painted with permanent nets. One tennis court next to the Pickleball courts. Restrooms are right next to the court. In a quiet residential area. A short drive to downtown, Trader Joe's, Panda, etc. Pick up games will be hit or miss. You usually won't have to wait for a court. 2. Monterey Peninsula College - They have 8 newly constructed courts with permanent nets. Pick up games will be hit or miss. Not sure if they lock the gates to the courts or not. Check the website to see when classes are using the courts.
